人物經歷
他於2002年畢業於南加州大學(University of Southern California),獲歷史學博士學位。1999年至2004年,他在澳門多家機構擔任歷史研究員,包括澳門中拉基金會、澳門歷史檔案館和澳門文化事務局。他還在澳門大學兼職教授歷史。2005年4月加入澳門聖約瑟夫大學,任助理教授。2006年9月,他接受澳門大學(university of macau)助理教授一職,協助建立澳門大學歷史系。2009年12月升任副教授,2010年9月至2011年8月任澳門大學歷史系主任。2011年12月加入中山大學歷史系,任正教授,同時兼任“百人計畫”(簡稱“百人計畫”)獲得者。
