《英語聽力速記基礎訓練教程》由三個部分組在：第一部分按語法、寫作（句子結構）知識線索編排，由十個單元組成；第二部分按辭彙知識線索編排，由六個訓練模組組成；第三部分為北京外語廣播Radio774“學英語，話文明”節目的選編。本教程的具體特點：注重基礎能力的培養。注重單一技能到綜合與拓展性技能的培養。注重基礎語法知識在聽的訓練中強化與滲透。注重基礎寫作知識在聽的訓練中強化與滲透。注重基礎辭彙知識在聽的訓練中強化與滲透。每兩個單元後設有“速記小竅門”欄目。配有多媒體課件光碟。該教程與BEC（劍橋商務英語考試的初、中級）、BETS（北京市英語水平考試的1-2級）和BFT（出國備選人員外語水平考試的初、中級）水平相吻合，在上述考試培訓教學中可考慮配套使用。此外，該教程也可以作為高等職業技術院校英語聽力課程的實訓教材。本教程由北京理工大學出版社於2007年3月1日出版。
