英語影視欣賞(蘇州大學建設的慕課)

英語影視欣賞課程是蘇州大學建設的慕課、國家精品課程、國家級精品資源共享課、國家精品線上開放課程、國家級一流本科課程，於2018年09月25日在中國大學MOOC首次開課，授課教師為衛嶺、丁紅雲、張立蓉等。據2022年2月中國大學MOOC官網顯示，該課程已開課7次。

該課程共八章，包括Mona Lisa Smile、The Devil Wears Prada、Avatar、Freaky Friday、The Divine Michelangelo、Pride and Prejudice等內容。

課程建設

2003年，蘇州大學開設英語影視欣賞課程。

2009年10月17日，該課程被中華人民共和國教育部批准為2009年度國家精品課程建設項目。

2013年12月20日，該課程入選中華人民共和國教育部高等教育司第三批國家級精品資源共享課立項項目。

2016年6月28日，該課程被中華人民共和國教育部辦公廳認定為第一批“國家級精品資源共享課”。

2019年，該課程被中華人民共和國教育部認定為“國家精品線上開放課程”。

2020年11月24日，該課程被中華人民共和國教育部認定為首批“國家級一流本科課程（線上一流課程）”。

課程性質

• 課程背景

哲人說：“讀史使人明智，讀詩使人靈秀…邏輯修辭之學使人善辯。凡有所學，皆成性格”。智者說：“一個人的閱讀史或觀影史就是其心靈成長史”。語言魅力結合電影藝術，談吐之間、虛實之變、光影入眼，體悟入心，必有所得。

課程簡介

該課程共八章，包括蒙娜麗莎的微笑、魔鬼穿普拉達、阿凡達、反常的星期五、米開朗基羅、傲慢與偏見、火星人、肖申克的救贖等內容，第一章是講解對高等教育價值的思考；第二章介紹生活和職業平衡問題；第三章介紹阿凡達創造的科技奇蹟和一些現實主題；第四章介紹代溝、美國特定的幾代人和四種育兒方式，分析母親和女兒之間的衝突，提出彌合代溝和實現成功溝通的方法；第五章主要介紹米開朗基羅作為雕塑家、畫家和建築師的生活，揭開米開朗基羅成功的“奧秘”，欣賞米開朗基羅的主要藝術作品；第六章介紹電影在藝術和主題上的成功，定義“真愛”並培養理想的婚姻價值取向；第七章對以火星為主題的科幻電影有一些基本的了解；欣賞主人公在應對火星惡劣環境中為生存而戰時表現出的積極態度和英雄主義精神；第八章探討電影的主題，找出救贖、自由、希望和信仰的意義，欣賞故事敘述中運用的技巧，揭示現實生活中人們自己的精神世界，以及如何遠離世俗的干擾，讓人們的靈魂自由。
