內容簡介

《英美報刊選讀》(第2版)繼承了*版兩個方面的特點:一是選材豐富多彩,具有時代性,信息量豐富;二是從英語新聞學的角度介紹了閱讀英語報刊的一些基本知識,而不是簡單談論閱讀理解的方法。《英美報刊選讀》(第2版)重新遴選了54篇新聞,按內容分成18個單元,每篇新聞的長度在700~900個詞之間。每篇新聞後面都附有兩大類內容。*類幫助學生理解文章,如生詞、重要的專有名詞、內容要點和句子翻譯,用中文寫出。第二類屬於“考”學生的,也就是“練習”,練習緊扣選文,從詞語和全文理解兩個方面設計練習,同時布置一些自主學習的思考題,供學生自己上網搜尋和閱讀。此外,還有報刊英語常識介紹。
