人物經歷
1999-2001在德國Osnabrueck大學任博士後研究員,2001年被聘為中國大洋協會深海生物基因資源開發項目責任專家,2004-2008年任國家海洋局海洋生物遺傳資源重點實驗室室主任,現任中國微生物協會海洋微生物分會副主任,中國生物工程協會理事;中國藥協會海洋藥物分會理事;參與組織實施了我國第一個深海生物基因資源研究開發計畫, 2007年作為中國代表團代表赴紐約參加聯合國關於深海生物基因資源保護的討論。2007年獲得“新世紀百千萬人才工程”國家級人選稱號。2008年被評為廈門市勞動模範,2008年擔任中國大洋深海考察第一個生物航段首席科學家。

海洋微生物 分子生物學。
主要貢獻
在國內率先開展了深海微生物的研究。參與組織建設了深海微生物研究平台體系,發展了深海嗜壓細菌分離培養、極端嗜熱嗜壓古菌分離培養、深海環境基因組構建分析等三項關鍵技術,分離培養出一系列深海耐嗜壓細菌。主持了國家傑出青年基金、自然科學基金重點項目、海洋863重點項目、中國大洋專項、973子項目等,發表SCI論文約40篇,其中兩篇論文分別被Nature China網站選為亮點論文及推薦為優秀論文。
目前主要從事深海超嗜熱/嗜壓,嗜冷/嗜壓微生物;及深海熱液、冷泉及深部生物圈等極端生命系統的研究。近年來,主持了國家傑出青年基金、自然科學基金重點項目、海洋863重點項目、中國大洋專項、973子項目等。發表SCI論文50餘篇,2009年兩篇論文分別被Nature China網站選為亮點論文及推薦為優秀論文。
