人物經歷

主要貢獻

負責設計和開發了國際綜合地球觀測系統(GEOSS)的系統與信息服務註冊中心。做為GEOSS核心組件,該系統管理和維護著GEOSS框架下共享的數據和信息資源的目錄。截至2011年8月,該系統被超過117個國家和地區的科研和管理人員所訪問。
提出了基於開放標準的元數據服務聯合(Federation)的解決方案,成功地實現了對觀測數據和氣象模擬數據的集成查詢和一致訪問。所構建的GMU GeoBrain元數據服務聯合系統,實現了對美國航空航天局對地觀測系統元數據服務(ECHO)、美國能源部勞倫斯·利弗莫爾(LLNL)國家實驗室的氣象模擬數據元數據服務以及美國喬治.梅森大學全球 Landsat元數據服務的透明集成。
擔任了國際衛星對地觀測委員會(CEOS)的衛星數據集成目錄服務(CWIC)的系統設計組組員和開發工作組組長。截至2011年8月,CWIC系統已連線了美國航空航天局、美國大氣與海洋管理局、美國地質調查局和巴西國家空間研究院的衛星數據業務系統,也連線了包括中科院光電院在內的三個北京節點。該系統具備了衛星數據的集成發現和一致訪問的功能,為CEOS各個成員國家的對地觀測衛星數據整體進入GEOSS共享框架提供了技術保障。
