學校成立於1911年，在校學生人數約4,259。該學院是密西西比學院協會、密西西比學院及初級學院協會與美國社區與初級學院協會成員。

Student Body: All I can say about the student body is they are great and have a lot of school spirit. They are up to pretty much any ideal as long as it is safe and fun and they are willing to get what they need done to do so.
Academic Experience: Being in Criminal Justice is the best of course, but the uniqueness about this program is I have had multiples of opportunity to volunteer with campus police which was outstanding and I'm a former president of a Criminal Justice Assoc. The workload is worth it and the curriculum in some aspects are great too. The facilities of this campus like Jones Hall is the best. Great technology and great staff.
Academic Experience: The registration was easy and self explanatory. As I said previously the professors are great and will help a student to succeed in any way they can. The programs are outstanding and if you can't figure out what you want they will help you figure out what it is a student like and see if that may help.
Academic Experience: My major is speech pathology and JC provides with a great start to achieving my goals. I was given an advisor that had the same major as me and that's helping me better than if I had someone that doesn't know much about my major.
Academic Experience: The professors that I had so far were very understandable. I enjoyed time in the classes of JC. The class registration process is very easy and can be done quickly.
Campus Resources: The resources the campus bring are okay. The student center is what really brings the campus together as well as campus activities such as watching movies, dancing, having get together, and etc. The libraries to me is great! The staff are willing to go out their way to make sure students succeed and have what they need to pass their courses. The athletic center is great!
