瑪麗娜·楚卡諾娃在俄羅斯師從著名的鋼琴教授巴許基洛夫，德米特里Bashkirov。1991年畢業於莫斯科柴可夫斯基國立音樂學院，並獲得鋼琴博士學位。 現任廣東亞視演藝學院音樂系鋼琴方向學科帶頭人，曾任哈巴羅夫斯克藝術學院和音樂師範學院教師。作為獨奏演員和俄羅斯遠東交響樂團、俄羅斯太平洋交響樂團合作演出柴科夫斯基、李斯特、莫扎特的鋼琴協奏曲；舉辦多場獨奏音樂會。
瑪麗娜·楚卡諾娃出生於俄羅斯哈巴喀夫斯科一個熱愛音樂的家庭，父親會彈鋼琴，母親喜歡唱歌。受家庭薰陶，瑪麗娜六歲就開始學鋼琴。
1991年從莫斯科國家柴可夫斯基音樂學院獲鋼琴博士學位畢業後，瑪麗娜憑著高超的琴技，過著邊教學邊演出邊旅行的生活。她的足跡遍及義大利、西班牙、日本和中國。 俄羅斯鋼琴博士瑪麗娜：“俄羅斯人喜歡所有的藝術。鋼琴給我的生活帶來了很多東西，在哈爾濱的時候，當我不開心，當我想哭的時候，我認為我的鋼琴能帶給我就像是媽媽在身邊的感覺，就象小孩子在哭的時候，媽媽過來安慰說不要哭。”
