主要研究方向：線蟲PVD神經樹突發育及維持
樹突是神經細胞突起的一種，負責接收來自於其他細胞的信號並將其傳遞給胞體，在神經系統信息交流及神經環路的形成中具有重要作用。儘管研究發現了一些調控樹突發育的基因，然而對樹突形態發生的分子機制的認識依然匱乏。PVD作為線蟲中感受傷害性和低溫刺激的神經元，具有與高等哺乳動物感覺神經系統類似的多級分支樹突結構，為樹突形態發育的分子機制研究提供了良好的模型。我們實驗室以PVD樹突為研究對象，通過遺傳學、細胞生物學、分子生物學、生物化學等手段研究樹突發育機制。
