四川大學土木工程系教授,博士生導師,國家高層次青年人才計畫入選者,四川大學雙百人才計畫。主要從事鋼筋混凝土結構抗震性能、可恢復功能抗震結構、智慧型金屬材料形狀記憶合金在地震工程中的套用、高性能減震與隔震裝置和非延性既有結構抗震性能評估及加固技術等研究工作,致力於開發高性能的結構系統和裝置來減輕地震災害。在加入四川大學前,王博士先後任香港理工大學土木及環境工程學系Research Associate 和 Postdoctoral Fellow,日本京都大學建築學專攻外國人特別研究員 (JSPS Research Fellow)。
