王先友,男,1962年出生,湘潭大學研究生院院長,湖南省二級教授、博士生導師,南京航空航天大學博士生導師,National Autonomous Universityof Mexico (UNAM)教授,“新能源裝備及儲能材料與器件”國家國際科技合作基地主任, “新型儲能電池關鍵材料製備技術”國家地方聯合工程實驗室主任。是中國高被引學者、“科學中國人(2016)年度人物”、首屆湖南省先進科技工作者,享受國務院政府特殊津貼專家。
兼任《電池》、《電鍍與塗飾》雜誌編委,美國《International Journal of Electrochemistry》客座編輯,中國電化學會委員、中國儲能與動力電池專委會常委,科技部國際合作項目評價專家。
主要從事新型化學電源及電極新材料、太陽能-氫能-燃料電池、超級電容器及其先進儲能材料方面的教學和科研工作。 自2014年Elsevier出版集團推出中國高被引學者以來連續三年入選能源領域中國高被引學者,9篇論文成為進入全球(ESI)前1%的TOP論文,合著出版了中國第一部鋰離子電池專著--《鋰離子電池》。
曾獲中國發明專利優秀獎、湖南省國防科技進步一等獎、湖南省技術發明二等獎、天津市自然科學二等獎等省部級獎勵8項。
