人物經歷

2002年畢業於雲南大學生物學基地班,2007年在中國科學院植物研究所獲博士學位並留所工作,歷任助理研究員、副研究員、研究員。2014年入選中國科學院青年創新促進會,2015年被遴選為中國科學院大學崗位教授。主要從事植物系統學和生物地理學研究,以第一或通訊作者在CladisticsNew PhytolProc R Soc BJ BiogeogrMol Phylogenet EvolBMC Evol BiolTaxon等進化生物學領域的主流刊物上發表論文39篇。目前擔任中國地理學會生物地理學專業委員會委員,國家自然科學基金和教育部學位中心通訊評審專家,《生物多樣性》、Frontiers in Plant Science、Systematic notes on the materials of P.N. Krylov Herbarium of Tomsk State University等期刊編委。

研究方向

(1)利用形態和分子證據重建被子植物類群的系統發育關係,確定不同支系的鑑別性特徵,從而為植物類群提出合理的分類系統。
(2)在系統發育框架下,通過植物類群時空格局和生物多樣性進化動態的研究,解析重要植物區系的發生和植被的演化。

主要成就

成就綜述

王偉長期從事植物系統學和生物地理學研究,通過整合形態和系統發育歷史,系統解決了毛茛目及其相關被子植物疑難類群的分類學問題,形成了“以系統發育為原則的整合分類學”的研究範式;將“物種分化-區系發生-植被演替-地球演變”有機整合起來,發現菟葵屬地理分布格局的形成反映了亞洲三大高原的形成過程,揭示了東亞亞熱帶常綠闊葉林、熱帶雨林和荒漠植被的進化歷史,闡明了東亞兩種特殊生境生物的遷入動態及其驅動因素。這些成果推動了植物分類學這一經典學科的發展,並將分子系統學由一門學科拓展到探討巨觀生態學、地質學等領域科學問題的工具。
