王乾，男，1983年6月出生於河南省鄭州市。2005年7月畢業於中國礦業大學化工學院生物工程系，獲工學學士，同年保送至清華大學生命科學學院直接攻讀博士學位，2010年7月畢業於清華大學生命科學學院，獲理學博士。
