本書由Listening、Reading、Speaking、Writing四部分組成。Listening，由兩部分組成，Section A是五個短對話，Section B是一段文章，訓練學生對有關本單元主題內容的聽力材料的理解能力；Reading, 由三篇文章組成，選材強調實際的案例分析，並注意選材的新穎性，每篇課文的篇幅在450字左右。同時，課後練習側重閱讀理解能力、主要辭彙尤其是專業辭彙的掌握、專業文獻的翻譯能力等；Speaking，訓練學生的口語表達能力，內容主要圍繞本單元課文涉及的物流專業問題，強調即學即用；Writing，訓練學生關於本單元主題的書面表達能力。
