Shanghai United International School Wenzhou Campus, built and donated by the Semir Group, is a K-12 boarding and day school with an affiliated Kindergarten. The school is under the supervision of the Shanghai Xiehe Education Group.The School combines the best of Chinese educational traditions and international educational philosophies and teaching models. 上海協和教育中心（集團）始創於1993年，堅持“中西融合”的辦學宗旨至今已有23年。

Founded in 1993, the Shanghai Xiehe Education Group has been embracing a unique educational philosophy of East meets West for 23 years. Our Primary School follows Xiehe’s Pioneer Curriculum (PC) informed by the best of Chinese and Western pedagogies. Our Middle School offers a unique but challenging curriculum that will give students all they need to be successful in their education. The curriculum combines the Chinese elements needed for the Zhongkao tests and the International studies needed for the IGCSE courses. This integrated and collaborative approach to learning is the perfect preparation for students and will give them all they need to access higher education anywhere in the world. The majority of their lessons will be taught in English by expert International teachers or co-taught by Chinese and Western staff.

We have created an exceptional opportunity for students with our High School programme. To give each student the best possible chance in life we have developed pathways for students to choose from. If a student wishes to continue their education in North America，we offer the Advanced Placement (AP) courses which gives them access to American universities. If the UK, Europe or other Commonwealth nation is a preferred destination then we also offer a wide variety of A level courses.We will also prepare students for the TOEFL and SAT tests, which will further enhance their chances of gaining a place in the top Universities around the world. As each student begins to plan for and prepare their University applications we will ensure that each one is given specialized and professional counseling so that their application is as good as it can be.
