清華大學巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心

清華大學副校長謝維和與巴基斯坦駐華大使共同擔任清華大學巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心，中心主任由清華大學國際傳播研究中心主任、原聯合國教科文組織絲綢之路項目青年學者李希光教授擔任。中心的日常管理工作由清華大學國際傳播研究中心負責。

簡介

2007年4月14日，清華大學巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心宣告成立，清華大學校長顧秉林院士和時任巴基斯坦總統穆沙拉夫親自為中心揭牌。清華大學巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心由巴基斯坦政府出資在清華大學設立，主要從事與中巴文化相關的科研和學術交流活動，旨在進一步擴大兩國在文化傳播領域的交流與合作，加深兩國人民的相互理解，特別是對兩國歷史、文化的相互了解，進一步推動中巴兩國友誼與夥伴關係。

在談到為什麼要在清華大學建立這樣一個研究中心時，穆沙拉夫說：“因為清華大學是中國最好的大學！”

巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心計畫每年安排一次“巴基斯坦文化傳播研究課題”招標活動，資助清華大學師生從事有關巴基斯坦歷史文化、中巴交流等相關領域的科學研究；計畫每年資助清華大學學者翻譯出版1-2本介紹巴基斯坦文化、中巴歷史交流等相關領域的研究專著、譯著；計畫每年舉行一次“清華大學中巴文化論壇”，邀請海內外學者就中巴歷史、文化、國際關係、媒體發展等問題開展交流；還計畫每年組織一定規模的師生互訪交流活動。

巴基斯坦是中國的重要鄰邦，兩國歷史友誼源遠流長，兩國的戰略合作關係是全天候和全方位的。巴基斯坦政府十分重視在清華大學設立的巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心，希望能夠藉此加強兩國人民，尤其是青少年的相互交往，增進感情，鞏固歷史友誼，發展更為和諧的戰略合作夥伴關係。

On April 14, 2007, the Tsinghua-Pakistan Culture and Communication Center announced its establishment. Both Gu Binglin, the president of Tsinghua University and Musharraf, the president of Pakistan, attended the unveiling ceremony. Funded by Pakistani government, this center, which is located in Tsinghua, aims at promoting cultural exchanges and friendship between China and Pakistan.

When someone asked Musharraf why he chose to establish the center in Tsinghua, he answered: “Tsinghua is the best university in China.”

Xie Weihe, the vice president of Tsinghua University, and the Pakistani ambassador to China both serve as advisers of this center. Li Xiguang, the director of Tsinghua International Center for Communication, was appointed as the director for this new center.

Tsinghu-Pakistan Culture and Communication Center plans to arrange a series of activities for each year, including: supporting teachers and students from Tsinghua to do scientific research on Pakistani culture and Sino-Pakistan exchanges; providing financial aid for Tsinghua scholars to publish one or two literatures and translations on Pakistani culture and Sino-Pakistan exchanges; organizing Sino-Pakistan culture forum in Tsinghua to discuss issues of culture, international relations, media development in China and Pakistan; and offering opportunities for teachers and students to have exchanged visits.

Pakistan is important to China as a neighboring country and a strategic partner. Pakistani government attaches great importance to the new center established in Tsinghua. Pakistan looks forward to further promoting strategic partnership, exchanges and friendship between the two countries especially between the youth of the two sides.

2008年4月14日，在華訪問的巴基斯坦總統穆沙拉夫訪問清華大學，並在清華主樓發表了題為“巴中和平、和諧和發展的夥伴關係”的演講。清華大學校長顧秉林院士在演講前與穆沙拉夫總統進行了簡短的會談。顧秉林校長代表學校歡迎穆沙拉夫總統來到清華大學，並表示清華大學願為進一步促進中巴有好，加強兩國高等教育和文化交流做出積極貢獻。清華大學新聞與傳播學院常務副院長、清華大學國際傳播研究中心主任李希光教授主持了演講。演講結束後舉行了“巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心”揭牌儀式。顧秉林校長與穆沙拉夫總統共同為中心揭牌。巴基斯坦駐華大使巴希爾和清華大學副校長謝維和代表雙方簽署了中心成立備忘錄。李教授被任命為巴基斯坦文化傳播中心主任。

2009年8月14日，巴基斯坦內閣會議以巴基斯坦總統的名義，授予清華大學新聞傳播學院教授李希光巴基斯坦最高公民獎。這次共有4名中國人獲得巴基斯坦總統獎，另外3人分別為國防部長梁光烈上將、冰川學家秦大河院士和中國駐喀拉蚩原總領事安啟光。1956年3月23日，巴基斯坦宣布成為獨立共和國後，1957年3月19日，設立最高公民獎。最高公民獎通常在該國每年的獨立日8月14日宣布，在次年的3月23日巴基斯坦國慶日舉行授予儀式。該獎項授予在藝術、文學、科學、體育和護理等方面做出傑出貢獻的人。

2010年2月，清華大學巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心代表團應巴基斯坦總統的特別邀請，專程來巴基斯坦進行為期一周的學術交流和考察。在扎爾達里總統的精心安排下，代表團專程去印度河畔的著名古城摩亨佐達羅文進行了實地考察。巴基斯坦總統阿西夫.扎爾達里2月23日下午在總統府會見了由李希光教授率領的代表團一行。

2010年5月14日，巴基斯坦駐華大使馬蘇德·汗（Masood Khan）閣下做客“清華海外名師講堂”第43講，在清華大學圖書館報告廳發表題為“Rebuild the Great Silk Roads Crossroads: the Role of China and Pakistan in Seeking a Political Settlement to Afghan-American War”的演講，我校新聞學院李希光教授主持了本次講座。Masood Khan大使還認為，長期的互訪和交流活動也是雙方增進感情不可缺少的一部分，希望更多清華大學的學生到巴基斯坦去親身感受巴基斯坦社會的各個方面。

2010年6月12日下午，巴基斯坦駐華大使馬蘇德·汗先生訪問清華大學。顧秉林校長在工字廳會見了馬蘇德·汗大使一行。顧秉林校長代表清華歡迎馬蘇德·汗大使來訪，並介紹了清華科研、教學方面的最新發展。雙方回顧了巴基斯坦與清華的合作，探討了未來清華與巴基斯坦相關部門如何開展人員交流、聯合科研等方面的合作。馬蘇德·汗大使邀請顧秉林校長於2011年到巴基斯坦進行正式訪問。

2010年7月8日，清華大學巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心舉辦“走進人類文明的搖籃——摩亨佐·達羅、犍陀羅遺址掠影”攝影展，歡迎巴基斯坦總統扎爾達里閣下。

2010年10月，清華大學巴基斯坦文化傳播研究中心將組織10餘名清華大學學生到巴基斯坦進行教學實踐活動。
