沈錦波，男，博士、教授、碩導、博導，省部共建亞熱帶森林培育國家重點實驗室PI。分別於2001、2008年在浙江師範大學獲得理學學士、碩士學位。2013年於香港中文大學生物系獲得博士學位，之後在該單位從事科研工作，先後擔任研究助理(Research Assistant)，博士後(Post-Doc Fellowship)，副研究員(Research Associate)。2017年入選浙江省創新類人才。主要從事植物囊泡運輸過程在植物生長發育、逆境回響中的調控作用機理研究。結合細胞生物學、分子生物學、遺傳學、蛋白質組學等技術方法，在模式植物擬南芥、水稻中重點研究了蛋白質的液泡轉運途徑和分泌途徑。以液泡分選受體（VSR）和ESCRT蛋白亞基AtBRO1、FREE1為研究蛋白，研究了液泡前體或多囊泡體介導的液泡蛋白從反面高爾基體網狀結構（TGN）到液泡的轉運途徑；利用植物的分泌途徑，研究了截短型VSRNT和液泡蛋白相互作用的關係；通過研究植物亞細胞水平的pH，分析了內膜系統pH調控囊泡運輸的機制。這些基礎理論研究將有助於提高經濟林木堅果內液泡存儲蛋白、油脂的含量和品質，培育高營養價值的品種。
