Taking the design of gear reducer as an example, according to the design process and needs, this book compiled instructor for course design of mechanical design, common design materials and reference legends. For the difficulties in the design process, there are examples or illustrations to illustrate in detail.
This book is divided into three parts and 18 chapters: part one is instructor for course design of mechanical design. It includes the outline of curriculum design, the overall design of transmission device, the design and calculation of transmission parts, the structure of reducer, the design of assembly drawing, the design of part drawing, the compilation of curriculum design instruction, and the summary and reply of curriculum design, etc. Part two is design data. It includes common data and general specification, connectors and fasteners, rolling bearings, coupling, sealing device, reducer accessories, motor, tolerance and surface roughness, precision of involute cylindrical gear, etc. Part three is curriculum design reference legend. It includes reducer assembly drawing and part drawing reference illustrations.
This book can be used as a textbook of course design of mechanical design for mechanical majors in engineering colleges, especially for foreign students.
