樊台平 教授.現任英國劍橋大學藥理系血管新生和中藥研究室主任。1997年，創辦血管新生(ANGIOGENESIS)雜誌，2008年受中醫藥管理局和中國駐英大使館的委任，統籌"英國中藥周"的中藥科學與研發論壇；2009年擔任歐盟第七框架計畫中醫藥研究專項"後基因組時代傳統中醫藥研究的良好實踐"(GP-TCM) 副主席，研究全球草藥法規與功能基因組學對中醫藥的發展。2012年，擔任中醫藥規範研究學會 (GP–TCM Research Association) 秘書長。受邀在Trends in Pharmacological Sciences上對以中藥及其理論為基礎的新藥開發現狀進行了綜述。在PNAS, Circulation，Cancer Research, Trends in Pharmacological Sciences, British Journal of Pharmacology，Angiogenesis等雜誌發表科研論文和綜述近100篇，被引用近千次。
