楊明輝，男，滿族，1980生於遼寧省清原縣。理學博士，研究員，國家青年千人。2002 - 2006年先後在英國利物浦大學（University of Liverpool）獲得學士、碩士學位，並於2010年在英國愛丁堡大學（University of Edinburgh）獲得博士學位。2010 - 2013年在美國康奈爾大學（Cornell University），能源材料研究中心（EMC2) 從事新能源材料研究工作。2013年12月至今，在中科院大連化學物理研究所工作，任潔淨能源國家實驗室研究員。
研究方向
楊明輝研究員在大連化學物理研究所從事潔淨能源材料研究。主要研究方向是具有特殊組成與結構的固體材料的物理化學性質及其套用。研究內容為材料的合成、晶體結構、物性及其在催化、電化學、導電、巨磁等方面的套用。合成方法包括常規的固相合成、納米材料合成、氮化合成和高溫高壓合成等。晶體結構分析手段包括X-射線粉末衍射、同步輻射、中子和電子衍射等，並使用Rietveld精修法對材料的晶體結構進行分析得到詳細的結構參數。材料的物理性能，如導電性和磁性等，主要使用PPMS和SQUID進行測試。使用電子顯微鏡TEM和SEM分析納米材料的形貌結構。以上述方法為基礎全方位地研究固體材料的結構、化學和物理性質及其相互關係。
