天津科技大學發酵工程專業碩士(1992),無錫輕工大學(現江南大學)生物工程學院,生物工程專業博士(1995);德國Hannover大學,環境工程專業博士後(2003),日本九州大學高級訪問學者(2005),澳大利亞辯糠嚷捉Flinders大學高級訪問學者,客座教授。
