1982年9月——1986年7月,內蒙古農業大學草原系本科;
1988年9月——1991年7月,中國科學院水土保持研究所攻讀生態學碩士學位;
1991年9月——1994年11月,廈門大學生物系攻讀植物學博士學位;
1994年12月——1996年12月,中國科學院植物研究所生態中心進行博士後研究;

工作經歷

1997年2月至今,在中國科學院植物研究所生態中心工作;
1998年6月至今,擔任生態中心副主任,中國生態系統研究網路(CERN)生物分中心主任;
1995年10月至1996年4月,在美國北卡羅來納州立大學進行合作研究。
