朗肯講座

朗肯講座

朗肯講座(Rankine Lecture)開始於1961年,是為了紀念土力學早期奠基者朗肯(Rankine,1820-1872)而設立的,和太沙基講座(Terzaghi Lecture)同是國際岩土工程界最高級別的講座。

朗肯講座人每年由英國學術界投票推選,被推選者要求具有世界影響的學者。1961~1972年的朗肯講座在Institution of Civil Engineers舉行,自1973年以來則改在帝國理工學院 (Imperial College)舉行。
