Mew Yew Hwa，是前新加坡大學畢業生，主修漢學與歷史。畢業後一直從事教育出版行業，積累了幾十年的經驗，對英語和漢語作為第二語言的學習方法有深入研究，並在實踐中總結出一些行之有效的方法，近幾年從編輯轉為作者，著述豐富。
