巒樹在經過與馮小剛，王朔等電影主創人員反覆交流更改後，最終完成了這樣一首感人至深的歌曲。也為電影《非誠勿擾2》增添了又一抹亮色。

“第一最好不相見，如此便可不相戀。第二最好不相知，如此便可不相思。”和“但曾相見便相知，相見何如不見時。安得與君相訣絕，免教生死作相思。”是倉央嘉措的同一首詩歌（原文是藏文）的不同譯本。中間的“第三”到“第十”，據作家桐華稱，為其讀者“白衣悠藍”觀看書《步步驚心》後的續寫。因一共十條，被網友冠以《十誡詩》之名，倉央嘉措的原詩並沒有名字。
