研究方向
1、金屬凝固理論及組織控制凝固過程中所伴隨的一些現象和缺陷產生的機制，材料的物理性能和力學性能的研究，獲得各種非平衡組織及準晶或非晶形成條件，以及在特殊條件下金屬的凝固行為。
2、原位自生顆粒增強鈦基複合材料該方向研究主要包括鈦鋁基複合材料的製備、顆粒增強相的形態特徵、複合材料的微觀組織與界面結構、複合材料中裂紋的形成及斷裂機制和複合材料的力學性能等。
3、大型薄壁鋁合金件精密鑄造工藝基礎該方向研究主要包括合金的熔體處理、鑄型材料改性、不同壓力的控制系統及計算機模擬、合金在不同壓力下凝固規律及組織與性能、鑄件質量控制及整體精密鑄造工藝等。
4、多孔（金屬）材料多孔材料的結構設計和製備工藝，多孔材料的性能評估和數學描述，多孔材料變形行為的數值模型和分析，多孔材料的套用開發。
