IEEE國際植物建模與套用(PMA)專業委員會委員,中國自然資源學會森林資源專業委員會委員,國家局森林經營與生長模擬重點實驗室學術委員會委員,芬蘭工程院(TEKES)特聘教授(FiDiPro)評議組成員,國家自然基金委(NSFC)評審專家。

學術成果

長期致力於套用數學、生態學與林學的交叉學科研究,開發了基於仿真最佳化的森林與自然資源管理系統OptiFor,創建了生態仿真最佳化實驗室。研究領域為生物統計學和運籌學在森林建模中的套用,研究方向包括森林適應性經營及森林複雜系統建模。
自2002年以來先後供職於芬蘭林科院(METLA),歐洲森林研究所(EFI),赫爾辛基大學(UH)等國際一流大學和研究機構。近年來在國家自然基金(2012-2015,2017-2020)和中央財政科技支撐項目(2016-2018)的連續資助下,與芬蘭赫爾辛基大學(UH)、澳大利亞南十字星大學(SCU)、美國路易斯安那州立大學(LSU)、德國慕尼黑工業大學(TUM)聯合開發林分生長模型QUASSI。
研究成果主要出版在Forest Ecology and Management, Canadian Journal of Forest Research, Scandinavian Journal of Forest Research, Journal of Forest Economics, Forest Ecosystems,Forests和“林業科學”等國內外林學重要期刊上。
