河南師範大學理論物理重點學科。學科共有研究人員19人,其中15人具有博士學位,分別從事高能物理理論和實驗、核物理以及引力宇宙學研究;2006年獲博士授權點,2010年招收博士後;2006年至今得到27項
國家自然科學基金和8項省重大項目資助;培養人才中有5人得到“國家傑出青年”基金資助,8人成為省級特聘教授或入選中科院“百人計畫”。
