曹佑安教授，男，回族，籍貫系湖南省常德市，教授，博士生導師。從事李代數、李型群、典型群、線性代數么半群的研究。

個人簡介
得到了交換環上有限典型群與有限謝瓦利群的階的計算公式；確定了域與交換環上波萊爾子群的自同構以及矩陣代數的某些子代數的自同構與李自同構；解決了嚴格上三角矩陣的交換保持問題；還和湘潭大學材料與光電物理學院楊奇斌教授合作，利用矩陣論、二次型等代數方法研究晶體群的分類，取得許多有意義的成果；近年來和李卓、李振亨博士合作展開了對線性代數么半群的研究, 目前國內只有我們這個研究小組從事這方面的研究，特別在對Renner么半群的研究工作方面，處於國際領先地位。在《Journal of Algebra》、《Communications in Algebra》、《International Journal of Algebra andComputation》、《Linear Algebra and itsApplications》、《Algebra Colloquium》、《Southeast Asian Bulletin of Mathematics》、《科學通報》、《物理學報》等刊
曹佑安物發表論文30多篇，其中有13篇被SCI、SCIE收錄。曾經主持湖南省教育廳重點項目一項，作為項目第二負責人參加國家自然科學基金項目三項以及湖南省自然科學基金項目多項。1995年獲湖南省優秀教師稱號；2001年獲湖南省科學技術進步三等獎。
