本書稿試圖以認知科學和認知語言學的映照觀為基礎,借鑑文學批評理論,構建一個認知詩學基礎上的文學解讀過程,為文學解讀和文學闡釋與評價提供一個認知模型,並將其套用於小說的生態、社會文化以及性別解讀的認知闡述。本書稿將以《白鯨》為例,對這一認知模型進行多角度、多層次的檢驗,並將其運用於其他詩歌、戲劇、小說等文學作品中。
