<旭日東升RisingSun》是飛利浦·考夫曼執導的動作電影，斯蒂夫·巴斯米、迪·卡雷利參與演出。
故事發生在洛杉磯，一名年輕女子的屍體在一家日本大商社的辦公樓里被發現。為了查明她的身份和死因，洛杉磯警察局派出富有經驗的警察立案偵查。在克服重重困難，使真相大白於天下之後，兇犯也被繩之以法。但這是一個異常艱難的過程。頭號兇嫌是負責主辦此案的老警察的朋友，無論警方做什麼，總是有一股強大的力量在與之作對：證據被盜，有關人士被殺後屍體難以辨認，甚至連身居高位的參議員也被勒索·..雖然本片被指責有反日情緒，但仍是1993年夏季美國電影票房十大座片之一。
