施天謨

施天謨（Tien-mo Shih），台灣省台北人，廈門大學教授，博士生導師。1970年畢業於台灣大學機械工程系，1973年獲得南加利福尼亞大學機械工程系碩士學位，1973年至1977年於加利福尼亞大學伯克利分校攻讀博士學位，並於1978年於哈佛大學套用物理系進行博士後研究。從1978年開始在馬里蘭大學擔任助理教授（1978~1983）、副教授（1983~2012），共任教25年。此外，從1985年成為勞倫斯·利弗摩爾(LawrenceLivermore)國家實驗室科學家。2011年受邀成為國際重要期刊《Numerical Heat Transfer Journal》客座編輯。自2012年回國到廈門大學物理系擔任教授，博導。2013年擔任美國加利福尼亞大學戴維斯分校複雜系統研究所科學家。

施天謨（Tien-mo Shih），男，出生於中國台灣，廈門大學教授，博士生導師，熱傳導專家。1970年畢業於台灣大學機械工程系系，獲物理學學士學位；1973年獲美國南加利福尼亞大學理學碩士學位；1977年畢業於加利福尼亞大學伯克利分校並獲理學博士學位。主要從事熱傳遞，算法分析研究，以及LED冷卻問題研究。並獲美國國家基金委以及中國科學研究基金委的重大支持。曾任職於美國馬里蘭大學25年。自2012年回國擔任廈門大學物理系教授，博士生導師。

科研工作

施天謨教授主要研究領域為熱傳導領域，算法分析研究以及LED冷卻散熱問題等。自2013年以來共發表文章20餘篇，其中包括理論物理實驗物理等知名期刊。文章總引用次數超過1000餘次。在國內外知名會議上應邀做大會報告多次。施天謨教授還主持美國國家自然科學基金，馬里蘭大學自然科學基金等多項國家級、校級級課題，以及1項企業橫向課題。

公益活動

施天謨教授除了醉心於科研事業之外，熱衷投身於公益事業幾十年。作為台灣慈濟基金會重要成員，施教授堅持慈善為本的理念，持之以恆進行慈善事業。從在馬里蘭大學任教以來，施教授堅持進行定期的養老院探望活動。2012年回到廈門大學，施教授發動並組成成立仁愛慈善社團，進行探訪敬老院，託兒所等多項慈善活動。此外施教授還定期進行貧困地區支教活動，並作為擔當者行動重要成員，並鼓勵學生進行慈善以及支教活動。
