桃樂絲是一名24歲的布魯克林學校老師。一日，當她在暴風雨中走出家門，沒想到竟走入了神秘的歐茲國，她沿著黃磚道尋找回家的路，一路上碰到了稻草人、錫鐵人與膽小的獅子，四人一同往翡翠市前進，卻遇上大巫師的百般阻撓。勇敢的桃樂絲是否能找到回家的路呢？
