劇情簡介
影片改編自布萊特·伊斯頓·埃利斯的同名小說，故事發生在80年代新英格蘭州的一所富裕的文科大學（康頓大學）中。在三個年輕人之間出現了一種三角性關係，他們是兼職買賣毒品的肖恩·貝特曼（詹姆士·范德比克飾），雙性戀的保羅·歐文（伊恩·索莫赫德飾）還有保羅的前女友勞倫（夏妮·索塞蒙飾）。
肖恩·貝特曼是個不折不扣的無政府主義者，他對自己的性取向並不十分明確。有一天，他發現自己成了雙性戀者保羅·歐文的獵取目標，接著又成了保羅的前女友勞倫的夢中情人。雖然在這場三人遊戲中，每個人都不時的有些疑惑和悔恨，但是他們還是在周旋在不同的床笫間享受著愛情與性帶來的歡愉。
