美國永久居民卡（United States Permanent Resident Card），亦稱作綠卡（green card），是用於證明外國人在美利堅合眾國境內擁有永久居民身份的一種身份證。“獲得綠卡”則用於指稱成為永久居民的移民過程。綠卡持有者的合法永久居留權是由官方授予的移民福利，其中包括有條件地在美國居留與獲取工作的許可。持有者必須保持他的永久居民身份，如果該身份所需的某個條件不再滿足時，持有者將可能失掉該身份。

綠卡曾經由美國移民歸化局（INS）負責發行。後來該局被合併進了美國國土安全部（DHS）下屬的公民與移民服務署（BCIS），其職能亦由該局替代。在合併後不久，BCIS被改名為美國公民與移民服務局（USCIS）。
正在申請綠卡期間的外國人可以申請取得兩項重要的許可證件。其一為授權就業卡（EAD），這種臨時工作許可證允許該外國人在美國獲取工作。其二為預先入境許可，這種臨時旅行證明允許該外國人返回美國。兩項許可證所賦予的權利均獨立於該外國人被授予的任何現有身份之外。例如，擁有H-1B簽證的外國人可能已經獲得了在美國工作的許可。
