1990年西安交通大學套用數學專業碩士研究生畢業.1984年至1998年於信陽師範學院任教，副教授
1998年至今於華中科技大學任教，教授
1995年被定為河南省跨世紀學術帶頭人培養對象，獲得省級學術論文一等獎和二等獎多項； 武漢市論文二等獎一項。
研究教學
先後主持完成了兩項省自然科學基金資助課題，作為主要成員參加了一項國家自然科學基金資助課題的研究工作。發表論文近四十篇，有八篇被SCI和EI收錄。“關於一類帶Maxwell邊界條件的單速遷移運算元的譜”的工作在第十四屆國際遷移理論會議上宣讀後得到了該領域國際權威人士P. F. Zweifel,W. Greenberg等人的很高評價[見： Transport Theory Statist. Phys. 24⑼，1423-1433（1995）]。
講授的本科生課程有：《數學分析》《線性代數》《數學物理方程》《複變函數》《工科數學分析》等。研究生課程有《現代數學物理方法》《譜理論》《半群與發展方程》《Sobolev空間》《Boltzmann方程》等。
