廖劍偉,任教於西南大學計算機與信息科學學院,教授,碩士生導師。2012年畢業於日本東京大學計算機科學系獲計算機科學博士學位,同年4月進入西南大學計算機與信息科學學院從事科研教學工作。從事可靠性作業系統和並行/分散式存儲相關方面的科研工作,自2014年起擔任國家自然科學基金委通訊評議人。
