研究方向為
能源材料的理論與設計以及半導體缺陷的基礎研究。已在SCI學術期刊上發表學術論文50多篇(H-index = 17),包括PRL, Adv. Mater.以及Adv. Energy Mate.等,被引用1000多次。 研究成果被Nature Physics、 Physics Today、 APS網站頭條、 Materialsview、 Materialsview China等長篇報導或選為研究亮點。因其在薄膜太陽能電池拓撲缺陷方面所做的工作,兩次在
美國材料學會春季會議上作邀請報告。因其在
鈣鈦礦太陽能電池方面的工作,受邀在歐洲原子模擬中心會議上作邀請報告。具體研究方向包括:
1.半導體與氧化物中材料缺陷物理的理論研究
2.傳統與新型太陽能光伏材料的理論設計與特性改進
3.太陽能分解水材料的理論研究
