完成進行時概述
如果單獨看完成時態，它有一個基本的含義即表示到某個時間為止，該動作已經完成，所以它稱作“完成時”。但是，在完成進行時裡面，一般情況下，它並不表示動作的“完成”，而是表示長時間的持續狀態。也就是說，完成進行時側重於“進行”。
如果單獨看進行時，它表示某個時間內動作正在進行，而完成進行時則側重於長時間的持續狀態。如果簡單地說，完成進行時實際上是一種強調動作持續發生的進行時，並且含有動作反覆進行的意思。

1、表示反覆發生的事
He had been mentioning your name to me.

2、表示持續不斷的狀況
She had been suffering from a bad cold when she took the exam.
她在考試之前一直患重感冒。
Had they been expecting the news for some time?

表示動作一直持續到將來某個時間的狀況。
He will have been playing on the piano by that time．
