主講過《地圖學》、《地圖設計》、《地圖設計與編繪》、《普通地圖編制》、《遙感製圖》、《地圖系統工程》、《數據質量分析與評價》等課程。
承擔項目與課題
近年來主持和參與完成多項國家和省部級科研課題：國家基礎測繪項目（NO.200701）“基於粗集理論的智慧型化地圖自動綜合研究”；國家自然科學基金(NO.40571135)“基於小波分析擴展空間數據模型尺度維的研究”；國家基礎測繪科技計畫（NO.1469990324231）“國家基礎地理信息數據跨比例尺處理實驗”；國家海洋勘測專項 (HY126-06-01-06)“海洋信息系統相關標準規範的制定與有關技術研究”；國家測繪科技發展基金（NO.99013）“基於小波理論的多尺度空間數據處理與表示研究”。其中國家海洋勘測專項獲2003年度國家海洋創新成果獎一等獎。
代表性成果
在地圖設計與出版方面，先後主持和參與完成了《濟南地圖冊》，《山東省大中型企業暨名優產品地圖集》，《深圳市寫真地圖集》，《深圳市寶安區城市建設與發展地圖集》的設計與編制工作。
在國內外學術刊物和學術會議發表論文十餘篇。
