研究歷程
2001年9月至2004年12月在德國馬普植物育種研究所發育生物學系George Coupland實驗室做博士後,從事擬南芥開花時間基因CONSTANS(CO)和FLOWERING LOCUS T(FT)的錯位表達分析研究。
發現CO只有表達在韌皮部伴胞中時才能促進開花,而FT表達在韌皮部伴胞和芽頂端分生組織時都可以促進開花;結合嫁接實驗,認為CO特異性地在葉片韌皮部伴胞中工作,介導成花素(florigen)的產生,而FT則很可能是成花素或成花素的一部分。這一工作直接導致了認為FT就是成花素的一系列論文的發表。2005年2月至2007年12月在英國John Innes Centre細胞與發育生物學系Caroline Dean實驗室做博士後,從事擬南芥春化作用機理研究。以RNAi實驗證明VIN3/VRN5家族成員VEL1和VEL2很可能不是春化基因;發現一個VRN2和一個VIN3酵母雙雜交相互作用蛋白可能為春化作用所需;在擬南芥FLC基因上發現三個春化作用相關的順式調控元件。

::研究方向::
開花時間是一種重要的作物農藝性狀,適宜的開花時間可以充分滿足作物在開花、結實過程中的光照和溫度要求,更好地適應各種環境和氣候。二穗短柄草(Brachypodium distachyon L.)的形態特徵和生活習性與麥類植物接近,是新興的禾本科植物模式材料。以小麥、玉米為材料,結合使用二穗短柄草,套用生理學、細胞學、形態學、遺傳學、生物化學與分子生物學等多種研究手段,探討產量相關農藝性狀尤其是開花時間性狀形成的分子基礎,可以為禾本科植物的遺傳改良工作提供知識和技術基礎。
目前開展的主要研究工作:
小麥、二穗短柄草開花時間性狀形成的分子基礎;
小麥、玉米和二穗短柄草轉座子標籤法克隆植物功能基因。
