1993年留學日本，先後獲得東京大學碩士、博士學位，並於2001年博士後出站。先後從事複合材料健康評價、壓電磁材料、功能梯度材料斷裂力學等方面研究工作。負責和參與了歸國留學人員基金、航天創新基金、國家自然科學基金面上和重點項目、總裝預研項目、國家‘973’項目等多項。在國內外學術刊物及會議上共發表學術論文40餘篇，其中被SCI及EI收錄30餘篇。
