主要研究方向
體育管理與系統工程、體育信息化理論與信息技術、體育課程與教學評價、體育教學訓練最佳化設計與控制、體育預測與決策技術、體育數學模型、體育定性與定量綜合集成研究等。
近些年來，發表論文 100餘篇；其中核心權威期刊30餘篇；參加國際和全國性學術會議20餘次，其中兩篇論文入選奧林匹克科學大會；主持國家社會科學項目《經濟全球化時代體育信息化與體育管理變革互動關係的研究》和參加國家科技部軟科學課題《2008年奧運會組織管理系統工程理論與方法研究》各一項；主持和參加省部級課題 4項；廳局級課題12項；獲省級優秀教學成果一等獎和二等獎各一項；省教委科技進步一等獎一項；獲全國第四、五屆體育科學大會優秀論文獎各一項、全國大運會學術論文一、二、三等獎各一項；代表性著作有《體育實用模糊數學》，填補了國內體育領域套用模糊數學的空白；主編全國統用教材《體育統計學》和《人體體質測量與評價》二部。此外，在體育定性與定量綜合集成研究，把信息化技術引入體育領域等學科交叉方面，做了開創性工作；在體育管理方法技術、技術科學和基礎科學等不同層次的研究上以及系統科學在體育領域套用方面也有突破性進展。1997年榮獲曾憲梓教育基金全國高等師範院校教師三等獎。
承擔本科生、碩士生、博士生的教學和培養工作。
