電影《奪命怪胎》是由大衛·柯南伯格導演的科幻電影，奧列佛·里德、薩曼莎·艾加等參加演出，1979年在加拿大上映。
《奪命怪胎》講述了在隔離的索馬福里精神診所的圍牆後面，哈爾.萊格蘭醫生正在試驗他的“心理治療法”。這是一種用來釋放病人壓抑的情緒有爭議的治療方法，他把他的明星病人娜勒隔離起來，但是當她在治療過程中變得憤怒的時候，憤怒殺手加害了診所外面的無辜的人們，萊格蘭的方法和這些恐怖的謀殺之間有什麼關係？答案將釋放新的絕對的恐怖！
