《大學英語泛讀教程1(第2版)》內容簡介:《大學英語泛讀教程》系列教材是在美國聖智學習出版公司出版的Reading,Dr Today Series的基礎上改編而成。本教材在改編中,保留了原版教材新穎獨特的設計模式和先進的編寫理念,並根據我國英語教學的特點與實際,改編了部分練習,增設了中英文雙語釋義的辭彙表,使之更能滿足中國學習者的要求。本套教材於2005年8月由高等教育出版社正式出版發行,由於該教材語言的真實性和教學內容的實用性,自發行以來受到了高等院校教師、學生以及各類讀者的廣泛好評。
在四年的教材使用中,我們注重對該教材使用的調查和研究,收集了學習者的反饋意見,在高等教育出版社的大力支持下,組織各冊編者對該系列教材進行了修訂。在原改編的基礎上,第二版更注重實用性,具體修改內容如下:
在每個單元中增加了系統的由淺入深的閱讀策略和閱讀技巧的介紹和訓練。
為課文增加了Notes介紹相關背景知識以及理解難點、專有名詞。
修改了部分辭彙練習,以適合各種不同程度的學習者的需要。
某些課文後增加翻譯練習,以增強學生對英語語言的實踐能力。
部分單元中充實了一些討論題或思考題,使學習者學有所思、思有所悟,同時也給學習者的
口頭訓練提供了語料和實踐機會。
在所有文章後均標明該文章的總字數,以便於學生把握自己的閱讀量和閱讀速度。
《大學英語泛讀教程(第二版)》系列教材被列為“普通高等教育‘十一五’國家級規劃教材”。全書共分五冊,低起點、高目標;內容豐富、題材廣泛。該教材經修訂後更能體現其新穎性與獨特性,更能滿足不同層次學習者的要求。
