仿歐式建築。單層外廊面闊五間，紅瓦兩坡頂。建於1917年北洋政府的江蘇督軍馮國璋任上。江蘇督軍署和國民政府時期一直作為會客的場所。

1946年後的國民政府和總統府時期闢為外賓接待室。各國使節遞交國書，舉行儀式及攝影后，即迎至室內與主席或總統晤談。其他重要賓客也在此接待，如馬歇爾、司徒雷登、魏德邁等。

This western-style building was originally built in 1917, when General Feng Guozhang was served as the Jiangsu Military Governor. It was used as the reception room by General Feng and the Nationalist Government later. During the periods of the Nationalist Government and the Presidential Palace after 1946, it was used as "the Reception House for Foreign Guests". Here Chiang Kai-shek received many important foreign visitors, such as General Marshall, J. L. Stuart, A. Wedemeyer and so on.
