研究領域涉及低鉑及非鉑催化劑、鋰插入化合物和電化學治理微量有機物污染的廢水。在鋰插入化合物及催化劑的成份設計、電化學性能及與微觀結構關係方面做過大量的研究工作，主持或參與完成了國家自然科學基金、國家科技部八六三、九七三和省部級項目的研究，同時，致力於材料基礎理論在工程實際中的套用。
從事材料物理化學及環境電化學基礎研究工作。

研究方向
直接甲醇燃料電池催化劑研究，二次鋰離子電池電極材料研究，水中微量有機物的電化學處理。承擔“物理化學”、“無機化學”、“理論電化學”等5門本科生和研究生課程的教學任務,獲得兩項教學獎；主持和參加“十五”八六三項目、國家自然科學基金、北京市自然科學基金等課題的研究工作。先後在“化學學報”、“中國稀土學報”及“Sensors and Actuators”等上發表論文40餘篇，並獲美國科學發明專利一項。1998年入選北京市科技新星培養計畫。
