本書為“語言服務書系·話語研究”之一種，為中國博士騙虹仔後科學基金資助項目和山東省社會科學規劃研究項目的階段性成果。本書以經過詞性標註的Switchboard Dialogue Act Corpus（簡稱SwDA）為數據基礎，考察英語日常對話中評價功能的語言使用特點，在評價功能與其講欠樂使用特點間建立對應關辯灑禁系。作者立足於英語對話語料庫，對評灶鑽影價功能的辭彙、句法結構特點進行全面、系統的汗榜戒囑考察宙府台充，探索語言表達形式與交際功能的對應關係，具有一定的創新性和學術研究價值。
