為了適應經濟全球化的發展趨勢,滿足國內廣大讀者了解、學習和借鑑國外先進經濟管理理論和管理經驗的需要,清華大學出版社與國外著名出版公司麥格勞-希爾教育出版集團合作影印出版了一系列商科英文版教材。鑒於大部分外版教材篇幅過長,且其中部分內容與我國的教學需要不符,我們請專家學者結合國內教學的實際要求,對所選圖書進行了必要的刪節。我們所選擇的圖書,基本上是在國外深受歡迎、並被廣泛採用的優秀教材的縮減版,其主教材均是該領域中較具權威性的經典之作。
為有效控制定價以便減輕學生購買教材的負擔,本書刪去了原書的第3~4章及第12章。我們在對原版圖書進行刪節的同時仍採用了原書的頁碼,因此文中提到的頁碼或內容有可能已被刪掉從而無法找到,由此給讀者帶來的諸多不便,我們深表歉意。
