劉鋼,1984年出生,2013年美國明尼蘇達大學博士畢業後至加州大學伯克利分校繼續博士後研究,2016至2019年在美國西北大學擔任助理教授,2019年入職華東師範大學。華東師範大學數學科學學院基礎數學系教授,博導。
